I needed to get some gemstones looked at to verify their authenticity, etc.  While they did not have the proper testing systems on site, they were able to tell me a number of things just by looking at and holding them (very impressive by the way) and guessing the weight of one of them (to within 2 carats, again by hand).  They also gave me a few tips on verifying them on my own.  If I lived closer I would visit them more often and certainly recommend them to friends.

This place is a treasure trove!  The treasure is not just in the amazing rocks, minerals, and fossils but in the family that runs it.  They're all so friendly, Knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions and show us around.  It's always a pleasure to stop by.  My family can easily get lost in here for an hour regardless of how quick of a trip we intend.
